We are creating opportunities for building a strong business and educational community
Over the past few months, our families and community have faced unprecedented challenges and it appears that we still have a long road ahead until we find a new normal. However, we have also witnessed some of the most powerful and collective efforts to support our most vulnerable through generous partnerships.
Last spring, we launched our first-ever Teacher Impact Award program. For $25, families made a $5 donation to Foundation 205, chose a $20 gift card from a list of business partners and submitted a personal message to their favorite educators. Foundation 205 packaged and delivered over 1700 awards and invested more than $25,0000 back into the Elmhurst community.
This program was so successful, we are doing it again, but with a few minor changes.
1) To become a 2021 Community Business Partner and one of 25 local businesses featured in our Teacher Impact Award program, we ask that you to make a $100 tax-deductible gift to Foundation 205. Your financial investment will help off-set credit card processing fees and supplies to maximize the return on investment for both your business and Foundation 205.
2) We are limiting the annual number of Community Business Partners to no more than 25 so each business can benefit from the program in a more significant way.
3) Families will be able to participate in The Teacher Impact Award program from March 9th-April 9th. In order to be a participant we must receive your donation by March 5th. Gift cards will be collected during the week of April 16th by Foundation 205 volunteers.
As a Community Business Partner, you can expect the following:
- A minimum of 5 gift card orders for the Teacher Impact Award program
- Foundation 205 window cling for your storefront
- Five social media posts (1,500+ followers across all platforms)
- Recognition via email to our distribution list of 2,300+ individuals
- Logo on Foundation 205 main website and Teacher Impact Award landing page
- Preferred business for future Foundation 205 partnerships
