The York High School class of 1971 is celebrating its 50th reunion in 2021. Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, plans have been altered. However, you have an opportunity to make an impact on the students who are navigating this new educational landscape by supporting the PTA Council Scholarship program. Each year, this program awards one-time scholarships to seniors who demonstrate excellence throughout their York career.

The Covid-19 pandemic has presented a host of challenges to keep this important program thriving. The PTA Council Scholarship program has been forced to re-imagine their fundraising opportunities since the majority of their historical events have been cancelled. Further, many families are facing significant economic challenges that impact their ability to support their student's college plans. In a year in which the need is greater than usual, the available resources are less.

Glen Wagner has formed a partnership with Foundation 205 to collect donations from the Class of 1971 online on behalf of the PTA Council Scholarship program. These two organizations are working collectively during this crisis to pool resources and continue the important mission of supporting seniors' future educational plans. All gifts received prior to April 2, 2021 will be applied to the Class of 2021. Gifts received after this date will be designated for the Class of 2022.

If you prefer to make a gift via check, please make payable to PTA Council Scholarship (note Class of 1971 in the memo) and send to 162 South York Street, Elmhurst, IL 60126.

100% of your donation will be allocated to the PTA Council Scholarship program and is completely tax-deductible.
